Obvs many hours ago but I made quick cinnamon rolls (like a US biscuit dough) with pumpkin spiced frosting. I was awake at 5 for no reason at all and used these to force the kids awake They didn't look quite that bright in real life!

It was an oatcake making day yesterday.
I accidentally added too much water to the flour and oats and it ended up massive - so I have to hack the quarters around and it will be even dryer than usual after 5 rather than 4 days...
(I perk it up on the hotplate in foil with a little water.)

I get my kids up by cooking nice-smelling things too!
