What are you having for breakfast?

The weather is a bit cooler today so I had rice and miso soup again - this time some leftover from yesterday that I'd mixed with stir fried mushrooms and garlic. Plus some Vittoria tomatoes and some halloumi.

I tried putting the halloumi under the grill first but all it did was get hot and soft until I had to take it out because I thought it was going to completely melt, so I think I'm doing something wrong there.

Sprouted spelt bread.
At first I found it hard to eat. Its very malty but once it was toasted it changed and became really delicious with some philadelphia cheese with chives slathered on top.

Steak slice again :(

I mean its delicious and all that, but could have done with something better, but really couldn't face oats and fruit. Need to keep trying to educate my body. Did have a smoothie on the way to work though that I made last night which had beetroot and spinnich in so not all bad I guess.

I am a well know cereal hater but I have got sick of eating bread all the time for breakfast.
I finally got round to buying some yogurt, berries and granola and popping some in a jam jar to bring to work for breakfast. It was very enjoyable.
Made my own coffee to bring to work as well.
I feel like I am totally winning at life today! It's the little things :D

If you like that, try putting porridge oats in the jar with the fruit and yoghurt and leave it in the fridge overnight. Makes a lovely breakfast :)

Half a small loaf - 740kcals !!
PNB ? kcals
Coffee - Bolivian/El Salvador blend.

All too quickly demolished :(

A loaf made with 250g of flour doesn't work in my breadmaker - ends up wonky - so I used 350g... I'll try 300g next week.

During the working week I'm quite content with 3 x 500kcal meals per day.
It's the coffee wot made me do it ...
