Urban Clubbing Club

Went to Sunny Side Up on the weekend, was a brilliant day. Stomping trance and hard house, which was not actually what I expected as I thought it would be more 'Old Skool', but was pleasantly surprising. Very much an older crowd, at 37 I was the youngest in there in general by some distance. 93 Feet East also surprised me as a venue, id been there about 15 years ago for some sort of tech house night and thought it was shit, but really enjoyed it on Saturday.
 
I went to See the Orb (I missed them but apparently the sound was crap) and Eat Static followed by planet shroom club night.....absolutely loved it! Best dance I've had this year. I really do love a bit of Psy trance. Eat Static were fucking amazing.
 
Had a right good time last Saturday at LDN East Canning Town for Shabba D’s all dayer. It’s an ex scrap yard formed of shipping containers. I paid the extra £15 for VIP tickets which I thought was worth it because it gave access to the balconies, and from there you got a really good view of the stage. ( expensive bar tho - £6 for a Red Bull, £4 for water!)IMG_6309.jpeg

Whilst I didn't go to this night I've heard from a dear friend who did that a fair few of my Bristol clubbing mates were there. Maybe next time

I’ll be doing the September Tribe of Frog hoping that there is one of course

Apart from that a lot depends of who’s on and where

I do like Planet Shroom’s nights but they seem to be few and far between

This was a great night last night at the Birds Nest with a great crowd and music, djs really knew their shit and rocked it with rolling jacking house drum and bass techno trance massive speakers and biggest bass I’ve heard in a long time. Reminded me of Jamm 15 years ago. Free open to everyone. 😎 Back to basics loud and messy reminds me who I love clubbing.

That sounds amazing, but my gf has booked us up for something that weekend already. Gutted.

Will try to aim for July, but she's saying September(!) - this is why I hate planning so far in advance :snarl:

Not my thing but many of my mates were regulars. Never heard a bad word about it. Good sound and sensible crowd.

Been looking forward to this for long time, it was originally going to be an all dayer in April but they rescheduled it for tonight. Will probably spend most of it in the Grime Originals arena so many legends on the line up - Grandmixxer, Silencer, Kruz Leone …

as predicted a right good messy time was had last night. Got there early and stayed till it ended. I didn't stray very far from the Grime Originals Arena but I noticed the drum and bass in Room One was also going off.

Having a relatively quiet one this coming weekend, but, on Sunday there's a good free party in Dalston.

I really like the Dalston Den with it's low ceilings, big sound systems and comfy sofas. Its got a house party type vibe to it, looking forward to going back there..

I've been the venue, it's right next door to the apricot ballroom venue, another converted unit, tiny..150 people max.

had a cracking void system in there when i was there a couple of months ago.
