Stalinists don't like being called out on their 911 wibble sources - my analysis is that there's not much that's antifascist about siding with the Russian state, its oligarchs, its patriarchs, and its national chauvinists. Dancing up and down in celebration of Putin's victories isn't much of an act of solidarity with the repressed socialists, anarchists, anti-war protestors and antifascist protesters inside Russia.

If they are genuine fascists would they not be on the side with a superior force.
Perhaps they are moles, if so I imagine they will be found out and dealt with accordingly.

I have to agree with some of this but I do think the eastern group is more tolerant of Ukrainians than the western side is tolerant of Russians.
I do think the Ukrainian government shoulders a lot of the blame here, but to openly celebrate the victories of the other side kind of misses the point. Also, to pretend this is good versus evil is a bit silly. Sure, I can understand the counterrevolution in the east, even hoping that the region can get some autonomy, but that is different from supporting violence and war. There are many socioeconomic problems in the east, if I were black, for example, I probably would not go there (even before the conflict). I imagine there will be a lot of "at least its not Kiev" thinking going on there.
