Ukraine

Is there videos of the speaker?

By the way, do you have information on Borotba? You seemed a bit sceptical about them.

Which speaker? Do you mean of the meeting? No it wasn't filmed.

Yes, I don't trust them at all . I've posted info about why at numerous points during the thread. I can't go back and link to them as I have no internet atm and reliant on posting on a crappy phone with rubbish signal.

What was the general gist of your distrust? I just have access to their website and coverage of them by left-wing groups in the west.

Landmark meeting between Poroshenko and Putin.

Are these guys going to stand in elections or is it just an activist group?
Elections to what though? They're not going to stand in Ukrainian state elections given they don't recognize it, and they'd be laughed at if they tried to stand in the donetsk republic (where are they holding elections anyway?).

The next Ukrainian parliamentary elections? So there will no longer be any pro-Russian parties in the Verkhovna Rada?

I don't know about no pro-Russian parties but it seems to me that it's reasonable to assume that the pro-Russian parties/groups who - like Borotba - do not recognise the legitimacy of the parliament won't be standing in the elections.

The main electoral group from that sector will be the people's front for Russia. Or was anyway.

I think you are a bit confused. They are Russian, and are based in the Russian Federation. They won't stand candidates in the Ukrainian elections. I think Tihipko and another candidate were the member of the Russian community standing in the presidential elections. One was beaten up, and I am beginning to doubt the Russians there will get any representation in Ukrainian institutions.

Yes, you're right. I thought that the Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine (one of the the other sizeable - at one time anyway - pro-russian parties) joining the front for russia meant that they (the latter) would be sponsoring candidates and parties in Ukraine. But doesn't seem to be the case so far. There is a potential space now though...

The International Committee on Aid to Ukraine was found by Baltic nationalists by means of UK military intelligence in February 2014. There is a particular cost item for funding Baltic Govts for support of local nationalist organizations provided the Single Intelligence Account. At once Human Rights watchers in Kyiv noted that this organization stoked ethnic strife under cover-up of medical aid. And at once everyone ignored their assertions.
BTW this Committee thrives up till now. And you risk meeting some Sajudis or EKRE militants right in the center of Kyiv. Moreover my cousin lives in Makeevka. This is Donetsk region. There are a lot of people in Ukrainian uniform. Some of them aren't Ukrainian at all. They keep themselves close and speak some unknown language or Russian with specific Baltic accent and hate guts Russian locals. It seems that their mission is stirring up hostility of Ukrainian militaries against their South East brothers.
I wonder if those Baltic 'helpers' are fed by UK up till now?

Interesting first post - hello. How did you find this site? Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

interesting pic this one

This in Slayvansk. And the guy to the left of Turchinov is none other than Jerzy Dziewulski. A very well known Polish private security contractor and security advisor to former Polish pres Kwasniewski. Basically this guy is intimately connected to the upper echelons of the Polish state and widely regarded as an important cog in the wheel of Polish national security . Its impossible to deny with any credibility that Poland is playing a role in whats happening.

Sky News back to their old trick of interviewing Ukrainian 'activists' without mentioning that they are out right fascists. Today it is a guy called Semyon Semenchenko who is the commander of the 'Donbass Battalion'. Here's a few pictures of the chaps.
