Frankie Rufolo lives near me and ran in the local council election just gone. He's barely an adult; goes around leafletting with his dad.

He's also a horrid little shit.

I have wondered if this event - which seems to have happened only once - is perhaps a stunt pulled by some nefarious outfit connected with the tories / right wing groups.

Seems a bit sus that they were picked up by waiting vehicles, and Slapton sands isn’t too far from Honiton, and it would play on fears about immigration. Perhaps I’m being a bit tin foil hat :hmm:

I have heard from reliable sources it's not your normal migrant boat but rather relatively wealthy people who would likely be able to travel legally but chose not to for reasons.

I realise that sounds like some daily mail bollocks but in this particular case it seems plausible. The type of small craft people cross in from Calais via the trafficking gangs mostly wouldn't make it as far as Devon, and wouldn't try to unless there was a catastrophic navigation fuck up.

Might have migrated from Dorset. :hmm:

Sounds intriguing. It is an odd story and your sources explanation makes as much sense as anything else tbh.

I've heard that the libdems were ahead in the polls, but that the Rwanda nonsense has given the tories a boost. Which is depressing

Reasons? What reasons?
