Running out of options, the Trump Administration goes with the only bunny suit available:
"I know nothing. I know nothing."
The Eurotrash
The people who liked and voted for Trump, liked the offers and promises that he made. They liked the idea of a Mexican wall. They liked the idea of a Muslim ban. etc.
Clinton couldn't have, and wouldn't, offer the kinds of things that Trump offered. So it's unclear what difference it would have made, for Clinton to travel to states and appear in front of these people. They didn't like her; and they liked Trump. No matter how much talking she did, she wasn't going to say the sorts of things that Trump voters liked to hear.
Trump said those things.
Surely one of the massive mistakes made by the democrats and the media was to encourage the Trump - give him lots of time and attention - back when he was seen as a clown, before he even won the nomination.
Thinking he'd be easy to beat, that "It was in the best interest of Clinton, and therefore the Democratic Party, that Trump was the Republican presidential nominee.."
WikiLeaks Reveals DNC Elevated Trump to Help Clinton
The media definitely reported this contest differently from any before. He was given a massive pass for every outrageous, bigoted, threatening thing he said. Clinton was called up on the most mundane of issues. The media needed a horse race to keep the interest and the revenues flowing, so they pulled out the stops to make Trump as plausible as they possibly could[..]
Won't get the reference.
You're right, I don't. At least, other than as a perjorative.
"I know nothing. I know nothing."
Fuck me, Spicer really said that? SMH
You never watched Hogan's Heroes?
Day not entirely wasted thenI'm supposed to know who Leroy Jenkins is (google says its a sort of modern day pacman character) and have watched some ancient sitcom about someone called Hogan.

It made me feel old, because I used to watch the repeats after school and that was a loooooooooooooooong time ago. Hogan's Heroes, Gilligans Island, I Dream of Jeannie and best of all Dark Shadows. Wow!That just made me feel young because it looks pre-mash. I thank you.
Must try harder.Hogans Heros on to do list. .Day not entirely wasted then

I didn't get the Eurotrash reference either. Was it to do with that late night show with Jean Paul Gautier and Antoine Somebody by that name?
Oooh, some of those were still on in the evening when I watched them, so not yet repeats in the after school slot. I knew of the Banana Splits, but I'll bet it was on NBC - which we couldn't pick up. Mind you, I loved HR Puff n stuff, which was on NBC at 11 on Saturday mornings, so I watched it through the snow and crackles.Don't forget the Beverley Hillbillies, Green Acres, The Addams Family, the Banana Splits, the Monkees...
