A very blunt tool indeed. There are too many questions that proceed from a position of assuming acceptance of the notion of a state (eg "Because corporations cannot be trusted to voluntarily protect the environment, they require regulation" - they require in fact to be abolished, but that isn't an option), and others which assume your answer supports a proposition when it might not (eg, "A genuine free market requires restrictions on the ability of predator multinationals to create monopolies" - it is quite possible to think that the notion of a "free market" - if theoretically possible - would logically require no such restrictions, without that meaning you support such a state of affairs).
