Well this is toe-curling. Christ. I never even watch this shit but this is watch through the fingers stuff. He's like a bad smell in there. I have no idea who most of them are, I do know Chris Moyles though, who was like wtf is he doing here, why isnt he at work? 
When one of them who again I don't recognise asked him why he was here when parliament is still sitting he said 'the government's in a stable place right now'. I mean... pissing myself. 3 prime ministers in 3 months or something, yep. very stable.

It's pretty awful. From both ITV and Hancock. I wasn't really watching it but I think the reason Boy George was in such a mess was because his mum almost died of Covid. I mean, the whole fucking is tasteless. Those two idiots with the massive foreheads who do the bank ads giggling all the way through it too.

She was in hospital during the first wave/first lockdown but none of the quotes from the show that Ive seen say she had covid. Im not watching Im a Celebrity so I cant judge directly for myself what was said about this. Buit I found an old article from back when she was discharged from hospital which says her health problems were not covid-related:

Boy George appeared on Good Morning Britain on Monday morning to share an update on his mum Dinah after she was admitted into hospital eleven days ago

So its more like the story many others faced at the time, of general covid fears, including fear of loved ones getting infected in hospital, horrific lack of PPE, not being able to visit relatives in hospital etc was on their minds. Granted there was also a lack of covid testing at the time, and an underappreciation of the other health issues covid can lead to, so I'm not going to rule more direct covid possibilities out entirely, but the story seems to be a fair bit more nuanced than 'mum nearly died of covid'.

Well, no he was on screen for a minute or two talking about his mum i think and how he couldn't handle Hancock being in there. I think?
edit: it might have been the NHS in general he was on about actually. wasnt paying too much attention
He does come across as a total twat tbh. Even if he hadn't fucked up PPE and abandoned his constituency. If he was a faded DJ or some other loose connection to 'celebrity' in there, he'd still come across as a total dick I think. It's painful viewing but hey, im gonna tune in again tonight to watch this car crash.
