Cheers innit, need to do a few more mitred ones. Didn't put them on the floor in any order, just plonked them thereIt looks lovely B! Nice stripes, and the mitred ones blend in really nicely
I just made that one up... K3 or 4 then K1 of grey for a whole row (front and back), couple of rows in maroon, the K3, K1 again - does that make sense?B - how did you do the one that looks like it has dots on it? (bottom row, 2nd in from the left)
Decided to do a slightly bigger blanket though, 8x10
I'm getting a bit tempted to do a bigger one too
When I laid all the squares out on the bed, they looked quite nice there and I thought it would be lovely to make a blanket big enough for a bedspread.
not sure I'll go quite bedspread size, but at single sized blanket.I'm getting a bit tempted to do a bigger one too
8 squares x 10 squares = 48" x 60"
... what's that in feet then?
my bedspread took 2 years
It's already taken me over a year to get this far so 2 years sounds about right!
What dimensions are your bedspread toggle? Just wondering how many squares I'd need if I did want to go down that route.
that was MUCH smaller squares, like 10x10cm. and i did 400 of those. Reckon you would want over 150 of the ones we are doing to make a double bedspread
I think it was just decided... it better not be undecided though, I'm not unpicking all my endsWho was it who told me i had to sew in ends on my squares, because you smell.
Before you start sewing in any more ends toggle... we were having a chat yesterday and I think the number of 5 squares per person came up for swapping... so that'd only be 20 (iirc).
