I don't think there have been any challenges this entire match, have there?

Looked like Raducanu threw her arm up at one point but the point was called in her favour anyway, so challenge not needed?

There are very few challenges this whole tournament. Covid has meant they’ve switched from line judges to relying on Hawkeye. There have been occasional challenges, mostly early on to get a sense of just how close they’ve come

Question for tennis fans as I know next to nothing about the sport.
The British press is of course predicting she is going to win many grand slams but isn't the woman's game so different from the men's in terms of dominance? We've had the same three or four men dominate the game for years but the women's game seems just so much more open and she alluded to that in her victory speech.
Not pissing on Emma's achievement at all but is future success such a given? (In my favourite sport we had a kid win the Tour de France a couple of years ago and everyone was predicting years of dominance - as if he just had to turn up and he'd win - but that's not happened due to injury and someone even younger and better turning up).

It’s definitely not a ‘given’ for many of the reasons you mention. Since Serena (who Emma will now be directly below in the world rankings) stopped dominating it has been really spread out amongst the women. Barty & Osaka should be dominating, Sabalenka just can’t get herself over the line.

Skill wise, she is the real deal already, excellent all round play and a superb reading of her opponents. Her oppos were at a slight disadvantage in that they would have had little idea of how she plays and where any weak spots are. Almost everyone she played was the first meeting of the two of them. Now all the coaches will be studying her and analysing.

All the teens that win a major went onto further success. It would be astounding if she didn’t win at least two or three more and ten or fifteen isn’t impossible at all.

I saw Djokovic at the ATP semi finals at the o2 (about 8 years ago when I was lucky enough to be in corporate box)

Amazing player.

I have no idea what's been going on in the men's draw so only just realised this was even on. But Djokovic sort of threatened to smash a ball girl in the head with his racket in a tantrum and then destroyed his racket on the next point. A charmer.

I am curious though as to why the ball 'boys' are clearly in their mid to late 20s for some reason. One has a receding hairline.

I can't really help much as to why Djokovic is doing so badly. But in terms of receding harilines in men - it's possible for these to start as early as late teens. :)
