The Championship 2018/19 thread

Would love to see Bielsa in the EPL but tbh Leeds need a far better squad in order to surive. Play offs first season may have come too early ironically.

To be fair, that was a great game. Coming from Sheffield, but living in Nottingham, I really didn't give a shit who won.

Great game

And for Leeds -

Sorry

Up the Villa!! :cool::cool::cool:

Yay :D :D
My late father would be so pleased :)

Edit to add; this may sound very odd but if you knew Dad and his friend, both life long fans and season ticket holders you would understand the humour - Dad had Parkinson's and when he was in hospital towards the end of his life his friend went to see him and said, 'when you get up there, see if you can have a word about the Villa'
It's finally worked :D

That Bogle lad looks very promising. If Lampard is wise he ought to make him have one-to-one mentoring from Cole, a man over twenty years his senior.

Good play off final although I think either team would be a bit lightweight for the EPL. Bit of an interest as there were so many Chelsea connections . Lampard done well at Derby passing out from the back, a decent triangle in midfield and fast counter attacks. His young loan players ( two from Cheksea) have all had good seasons but we'll have to wait to see if he gets them again or whether they are recalled or loaned out to EPL clubs. Great to see Ashley Cole back. There's still a question mark over the FFP issues at Derby so it's a bit vague for next season.
Villa might struggle to keep hold of Tammy Abrahams if Higuain's loan isn't renewed at Chelsea. Terry seems to have settled in his role at Villa but I think he'll look for something else after next season.
