The all boxing thread

It’s on :D hopefully the fury change of trainer has brought stuff to the party rather than being a distraction

i will be finding the quietest boozer avoiding coked up knobbers to watch

not sure about this one. Wilder is still a serious hitter. Cannot find myself to like Fury.
If you were to ignore - a big ask - the homophobia and the rest, he's gone up to 'somewhat likeable, but massively annoying'. All that said, hope he wins. After that, I'll like to see Joshua land him on his arse, though if he gets past Wilder Fury would be a massive favourite for that fight. Assuming it ever happened.

I went on a stag do, left early went to bed and got up for one of his fights:D worked ok
give it some, drink through :p
I do the absurd thing of trying to squint at youtube clips the morning after to find some highlights, whilst also trying not to see who won from the title. I think it's worked the grand total of once.

I would have loved to see wilder v fury II, I have only Wilders reputation to go on I have never seen one of his fights.

Some right jiggery pokery going down. Leaked rumours from Fury’s camp about leg injuries and relations with the trainers.

hopefully just tactical mind games

That's all done now. Next time's for real.

Both over a stone heavier? Numbers
Fury’s weight doesn’t make sense with the clips I’ve seen. Even at the weigh-in his face looks slim, arms toned and solid, can’t see the torso but I’ve seen some clips and he looked better than ever, so weird he’s so heavy.

Wilder looks like a beast with the extra, but is he used to carrying it?

Early night for someone IMO, between 4 and 6.

Sorely tempted to buy it tbh, it's a genuinely huge fight in the making. Always loved the middle division the best but there's something about two monsters colliding that's just exciting, especially when their styles are so different.

Yeah...heavier but, in a Fury world, toned!

I watched a thing, he's been doing aerobics, eating fish, proper workouts and regime. Science stuff.

He could be serious about the early knock-out. But mind games or whatever...no (cough) draw here.

I don't think that Wilder can have a plan B, he never has had one. Even when outboxed he lays them out, after 40 odd fights that's not a mind-set, that's a mind-fact. He's put on power-weight.

Gonna be good.

Absolutely.

I think it’s muscle Fury has put on, the few clips I’ve seen he looked great.

Wilder, wow, what a machine.

Both coming for the KO.

In different circumstances Wilder would be being lauded as the greatest boxer ever.

Honestly, for me, the mental game is kinda the biggest thing here...if you know what I mean.

I've just watched their first fight, I have to feel sorry for wilder, he knocked fury down twice but didn't win, that said fury was ahead on points at least so it seemed. I won't watch fight 2 live but when it comes out on YouTube I won't miss it.

I’ll wait till I see fury in the ring I think

Where is
the extra stone? Is it the side product of concentrating on power in the camp.

Not keen on how his arms look

Wilder has muscled up and still looks ducking ripped, great for the power but will it slow him, he’s not a “boxer” is power his one trick? Power comes from looseness of technique and explosiveness not bulk

A loose slightly heavy fury will outbox a taut powered up wilder

I have no fucking idea:D

Prediction... Fury knocks out a stiff over muscled/over powered, gassed wilder, middle rounds. It’s not gonna go the distance

just remembered my winnings from swinson losing her seat. spread is rubbish. spunked it on a selection of high odds outcomes, favouring wilder mostly
