So, you're on Mastermind. What's your specialist subject?

I'm struggling to think of a single subject I'd go for if I was on the show.

I have a fairly good understanding of quite a few topics - most of them quite obscure - but I wouldn't feel confident enough to put any of them forward as my specialist subject.

How about you? What would your specialist subject be?

Boxing, been into it for 35 years and been into it very very seriously (studying so to speak) since early 80's. I read about it, talk about it and watch it pretty much every day of my life, I've even gone back to the late 1800's, if I had to I could narrow down a period, or a division etc.. and I reckon I'd nail it too.

Most people choose such things as 'The Simpsons' nowadays.

Me, I'd go for something like the Films of Alfred Hitchcock, but that's no better than The Simpsons, really.

I suppose "Japan" is too broad a subject and "Moral Education in Japan" is too specific.. so I suppose something like The Japanese Education system? Otherwise Japanese film perhaps or Religion in Japan, or the Family System in Japan? yeah... something Japanese anyway but not related to manga/anime/modern TV or music.
