Danger: Diabolik - 1968 "The most shagadelic heist movie in film history" - how could I not?

• Empire Of Dreams: The Story Of The Star Wars Trilogy (2004) - looks like undemanding but mildly pleasurable stuff

As predicted, fairly orthodox, but plenty of interesting talking heads.

• In China They Eat Dogs (1999) - Danish bank heist comedy

Absolutely bonkers - starts off as a fairly standard comedy-drama, very quickly goes in a completely different direction, avoiding standard consequences. Kim Bodnia plays the psychopathic estranged brother completely straight, whilst the light relief-providing cooks (Nikolaj Lie Kaas and Tomas Villum Jensen) progressively lose their minds in the background. Reminded me a little of Kassovitz's off-kilter black comedy Assassin(s) mixed with the character interplay of Swedish policier Mannen Från Mallorca.
