I did actually read glue as I have all his other works. for some reason Trainspotting hit the mark whilst the others didnt
 
His early books are all great.
I hated The Lomg Knives- thought it was the worst book I'd read in a long time
 
Iv read a couple years ago and rated them, so recently Iv filled in a few gaps and listened to a few on audiobook. id heartily recommend any of the Renton series read by Tam Dean Burn, oh my sides, great fun
