Yeah, like I said it's a bit of a mental defence, like arguging that it's wrong for white folk to walk down the street without getting hassled by the police and so setting up some sort of unofficial black police force to harass white people.
It's completely fucking mental and misses the fact that many people have made intelligent criticisms of Crimethinc's drop out politics and how it's often only possible from a position of middle class privilege and reeks of poverty tourism. Of course APOC being loons have to chalk it all up to race and then do some sort of direct action about it.

You don't understand racist mindset. Those identified as the 'enemy race' object is not understood to have any meaningful capacity to feel anything (other than the thirst to destroy and steal), they are merely repulsive objects of derision.
The vitriol isn't a matter of caring what the 'enemy race' object "feels", it's about unifying what the 'real humans' feel, soldiarity, "to identify by what we are not" to paraphrase Ursula LeGuin in her book, The Dispossesed.

I'm not sure why it should mean that, but I do find this odd near-revival of the term 'coloured' funny.
I think it's intended to cover everyone who doesn't count as white. In the US, Hispanic people count as 'people of colour', I believe, since they don't count as white.
There used to be a similar notion, in Britain, of being politically black. I know a white Jewish man (atheist of Jewish family history) who was told by a south London housing co-op that he counted as black. This worked to his advantage, since they were looking for new 'black' members, not white ones.
In any case, I am looking forward to wimin being called 'people of gender'
