I heard a clip of this earlier, a slight change as you say. A bit more singing rather than just angry shouting

To be fair thats happened a few times before, to a greater extent than with this track.

eg I Feel so Wrong, Tarantula Deadly Cargo.

edit - actually I was wrong about Tarantula Deadly Cargo, not sure which track I was thinking of, gives me an excuse to go through some albums again.

Looks like a 3rd track from the album is pre-released. O.B.C.T.

Heavy on bass. Bit of something approaching actual singing, well the odd word anyway. Kazoo action.

I like it, it's got a ring of BHS to it. Nice to see they're progressing into playing their own instruments too

Yep Messy Anywhere too has a nice melodic distinct lack of spit. More of a Drayton Manored listener though myself

Well I love the new album, there are some great sounds in the music on this one.

My earlier comment about actual singing O.B.C.T pales into insignificance compared to a couple of the other tracks on this album.

A singing type voice in When You Come up to Me. And full blown singing on Firewall. Ok maybe 'full blown' is overstating it.

Somewhat less 'laugh out loud at lyrics' moments upon the first listen but that could change with subsequent listening and there are still some moments.

Twice now I've had tickets to see these and not made the fucking gig. Had to send the snapper to the Liverpool gig tonight with her mate. Fuck knows what two 19 yr old girls will make of the crowd

It's been similar when I've seen them up north too.

Saturday was decent enough, but most of the crowd didn't seem that into it (I think the band mentioned it at one point). I guess it was probably more locals than SM fans.

I've seen them in much bigger venues than the one they were in the other day & tbh I wasn't into it. The sound was nowhere near as good in the smaller venue & as mentioned in previous posts, the crowd weren't up for it.

They were great in Bournemouth but Jason did seem to be pissed off about the sound early on. Sold out gig and the venue was packed (with middle aged blokes).

We woke up with little memory of said evening. A full bottle of vodka on the kitchen counter and blood streaks and splatters on the doors, light switches and such. Not a mark on either of us.
