The incredibly dull cooker saga continues. I got some tile backer board and fitted it behind the cooker (you guys might have warned me what a bastard it is to cut!
). The installers pursed their lips at it and then decided it was ok, but apparently my gas bayonet is in the wrong place and needs to be moved behind the cooker, which is a total curve ball.
At this point I have to decide whether actually the time has come to go electric, given that gas is going to be phased out at some point, as they pointed out. This involves upgrading my circuit board and putting in a cooker circuit. But if I have to pay someone to move the gas bayonet the money might be better spent on this.
Thank god the cooker is actually working. It just only bakes on full. Not going to be getting a new cooker this side of Christmas I shouldn't think...
