Saw this vessel in port today:

The Grampian Tyne - One of the newly delivered, new generation, hybrid offshore support ships, destined I believe, along with its sister ship to be support vessels for the Dogger Bank Windfarm. Its a local firm, North Star Shipping who have won the contract.

Hard to judge scale but the helipad looks quite small.

Passed that way back tonight and yes, the new structure on the dockside is a plug-in charging point - with a very thick black and yellow cable hooking it-up to the ship.
