Mostly happy with my Les Paul, but it doesn't really do twangy, so I'm thinking of adding a Dano Pro to my collection.

It's a dirty sort of twangy, superbly retro and cheap as chips.
The aqua one really appeals to me.

I don't like the look of them at all but I am very pleased with my Danilectro Longhorn. The metal nut gives it a nice bright twang without being a twangy jangle hippy pussy sound.

Not the greatest pickups but you really can't fault it for the price. It's a good solid guitar with a decent sound, I use mine live pretty much all the time.

Is it just me or does the neck look thicker at the nut than at the 20th fret?

As other people have posted some pig ugly old tat I have to put in a dishonourable mention for the utterly vile Stineberger headless piece of shit. I can only assume the designer was headless as well or at least blind, deaf and with no sense of touch. I know it was the eighties but that's no excuse.

I was at an open-mic night a while back and the bass player of the host/house band had one on a stand which he comprehensively ignored all evening. Speaking to him later he told me he always brings it along in the hope that somebody would make him an offer for it. Everybody who tried it suddenly remembered they'd left a pint on the bar they had to pay for and beat a hasty retreat.

A bass that makes me sound worse than I am and that's saying something

Wata. This is probably Boris' only half decent song. I say half because it would be ace if it didn't have that lame singing and boring arse shit between the good stuff. Extra points for the double neck and the crazy drum faces, minus points for Watas trousers and shoes.

Anyone ever played a Luna guitar? They have some really beautifully designed guitars and basses (if a bit hippyish). But of course looks aren't everything.

The wood's all wrong on that Luna. What you want is a nice even grain to get a decent tone out of a guitar. It's why the Japanese Strat copies in the late 70s were better than the Fenders, the Japanese had bought up all the best wood.

Completely over the top but my mates dad made this.

Not sure how it plays and not sure of whether I love it or hate but you have to admire the craftsmanship.
