I sent you a pm, Hellsbells. I think there would probably be a lot of people willing to work one day a week, as it means you can still work part time somewhere else. It's really difficult to get full time anywhere at the moment anyway.
Closed to new bids as of 24 May, under the first round of budget cuts, and applications in the pipeline will not be granted funding either.Future Jobs Fund is a DWP scheme primarily for young people who've been out of work for 6 months or more (although in some parts of the country FJF is available to all who've been unemployed for 6 months+, depending on levels of unemployment, indices of deprivation etc).
Recruitment is done through Job Centres, who check to see if the applicant is eligible first. The "jobs" last for 6 months only, have to include some element of training and job preparation and are supposed to have an element of community benefit.

We are currently looking to recruit an events assistant to help with our expanding events portfolio.
At present we run two large Affiliate events, two smaller regional affiliate events and one event for the entire iGaming industry.
In the next 12 months we are looking to expand our regional events into new countries and to add a number of other events in the UK.
This role would suit someone looking to move into their first events role or a second jobber with up to a years experience, experience or knowledge of iGaming is not required but may help with conference content and speaker research. There will be lots of opportunity to learn about the industry on the job and as a whole it is a very friendly and welcoming industry, where everyone is happy to share their views and experience.
The Events Assistant will take responsibility for the client experience from start to finish as well as assisting the events team with the events themselves. In addition, the candidate will assist the Event Manager with the conference content - from speaker acquisition to content design.
The role will include but is not limited to:
• Logistics
1. Main point of contact for all exhibitors pre and post event- this is a key role within the team as you will be responsible for looking after all our clients and managing their experience of the events from start to finish.
2. Source any venues required by sponsors/exhibitors for parties/private functions.
3. Source and coordinate sponsorship components such as transport, hanging banners, sponsored water, etc. This involves finding the best possible prices and ensuring timely delivery of all goods to the event venue
4. Coordinate and organise delivery schedule for exhibitors to ensure all goods arrive at venue pre show.
5. Coordinate and organise delegate bag inserts pre show and at show- liaising with any exhibitors/sponsors to ensure that all inserts arrive at the venue promptly and maintaining a contact sheet for following up should any fail to arrive.
6. Responsible for distribution and coordination of all sponsored materials i.e welcome letters, do not disturb signs, liaise with hotel, design and printers to create, distribute and negotiate on costs.
• Production
1. Compile exhibitor guide – this guide is sent to all exhibitors prior to the event to help guide them through the pre event, build up and breakdown. This is a very important source of information which helps the exhibitors find key information without always having to ask.
2. Brief design on any materials required by sponsors/exhibitors
3. Plan delegate guide with Event Manager
4. Compile exhibitor welcome packs including distribution to said exhibitors
• Conference
1. Support the Event Manager with acquiring speakers, use internet to research speaker and find contact details
2. Support Event Manager write conference copy
3. Support Event Manager with planning conference topics
• General
1. Point of contact for exhibitors during show days and build up as above this is a really key role as it ensures our exhibitors have a great experience of the event from start to finish.
2. Create post event Survey with the Event Manager to help get feedback to use to improve future events.

This role requires some international travel and some weekend working during events.

Ab initio consultant (x 2)
we are looking for an ab initio consultant to start sept for a 3 month contract - initially - based in NW of England
Must have a verifyable background (will be screened by ab initio themselves) and solid experience in the following areas:
EME
Continuous flow processes
Web services
exposure to MPP data warehousing environments such as Teradata, Netezza etc is desireable* but not essential (although if you know ab initio nad have not been exposed to these environments i would be surprised tbh)
rate is in the region of £500 a day but is negotiable for the right candidate
