One thing I'm wondering is will we have a winter break for the World Cup as there might be a few players playing internationally for some of the lower ranked teams

Had a look through most of the lesser squads and as far as I can see there are just two NL players likely to be in World Cup squads, both keepers one from Altrincham with New Zealand and one from Oldham with Canada.

League One and Two playing on I believe.
According to The Athletic (link below, but possibly behind a paywall) the Premier League stops on 13th November and resumes on Boxing Day whilst the Championship stops on the same day but restarts a bit earlier on 10th December.

As you rightly say, Leagues One and Two carry on as if nothing patently crazy was going on.

Would imagine lower and non-league teams would see it as an opportunity to get some local Premier and Championship team supporters through the door for a month?

Massively impressed that the club have held season ticket prices again - £169 for adults, £70 concessions, 13-19 pay your age if memory serves.

Compare that to those local to us in the NLS (both are 'early bird' offers, can't find what the increases are after they end):
  • Dartford - £240 / £300 adults terrace / seating, £160 / £220 concessions, £80 / £140 13-17, £40 / £100 juniors
  • Welling - £225 / £260 adults terrace / seating, £165 / £190 concessions, £100 / £130 11-16
And the teams above and below us in the table last year (Hampton & Richmond haven't announced their pricing as yet, Hungerford is early bird):
  • St. Albans - £250 adults, £165 concessions, £75 18-21, £50 12-18 (also family tickets of 2 x adult and 2 x under 18 for £520 and 1 x adult and 1 x under 18 for £280, both of which are still more expensive that our standard pricing)
  • Hungerford - £220 adults, £150 concessions, £75 11-15
And finally newly promoted clubs - both have got early bird offers:
  • Cheshunt (discount / standard) - £225 / £250 adults, £165 / £150 concessions, £75 / £85 13-17
  • Worthing (discount / standard) - £212 / £249 adults, £151 / £178 concessions, £55 12-16, under 12 £33
Haven't had a chance to look at the rest of the League yet but can't imagine anyone will be cheaper. Expect some Isthmian Premier clubs will be more expensive as well.

Prices will increase because there are 23 home games but they won’t be any higher per game.

Based on all the sellouts last season the actual number of season tickets sold should be rather interesting (and rather exciting too!). Presumably a set number will be left unsold to accommodate away fans. “Thankfully” no Maidstone for any major headaches!

Paula, we do not have all ticket matches as we would have to set aside 20% of capacity for away fans. Like home fans they are repeatedly advised to buy in advance. This is communicated in every match arrangement form.

Was talking about season tickets. Given the popularity of the club last season the possibility (however remote) remains that demand for season tickets could even exceed capacity of Champion Hill. Presumably there will be a limit set on the number of season tickets available to purchase meaning that away fans, walk-ups, day trippers, stag parties and others might have the opportunity to purchase tickets.

Possibly old news as they announced it on their website a couple of weeks ago, but we're visiting Wingate & Finchley on Sat 30th July, same day as the Sittingbourne game.

Just a thought, an advert for another 5 episodes of the Peter Crouch doc are due to be shown next week. Will all our player comings and goings, pre season fixtures and general club stuff, that other clubs have been enjoying over the past months be revealed in new episodes?
