Post your handwriting

Interesting article by Philip Hensher in today's Observer, made me wanna polish my copperplate.

tbf, no. 2 is my old handwriting. Which in itself was a rebuild of completely incomprehensible scribbling. no. 1 would've been a lot smoother if I hadn't been trying to find a non-bleeding paper, settling on a (ridged) Acrylic pad  :D

And 3 and 4 are kinda works in progress. I remain unhappy with many elements of them. And occasionally get confused half-way through a word, particularly when hitting an 'r.' But they're a bit quicker than 2.

I kinda prefer the illegibility / angledness of 4, but I find it bloody hard to read :D

Nice writin' Quoad!

Are you left handed? Nice flex on the 1st, love that earlier piece you posted too.

I'm disturbed by the number of Urbs that have included 'friendly' exclamation marks in their samples. :hmm:

I was also expecting more to be written in blood or other bodily fluids.

Sorry to disappoint you 'Rax, but my other pen (the one which sticky or gummy fluids don't clog up) has been mislaid. :p

Cheers! Definitely right-handed!

The first one is a loose nib - a Gillott 303. The flex on them is, frankly, obscene. (And because they're only 59p a pop, it doesn't really matter *that* much if you overspring one.)
