I don't like it. I think it always looks scruffy because my letters are never of a consistent size. There are a few things I like about it though. Like, how I join "of" together, or "ot" and "th."

I'm somewhat ashamed to admit, considering it's not really something worth worrying about, that I have handwriting anxiety. In that, I get quite stressed that my handwriting isn't what I want it to be. I even start over on handwritten notes if I'm not pleased with how they look. Sometimes.

Does anyone elses change depending on what they are writing with, speed they write etc? Mine does. Which is annoying because I have to think about it before signing my signiture for example to make sure I alway write it the same.

Yes. the size , pitch etc all change. The basic letters remain more or less the same (eg I never do a rounded capital A) and banks clerks etc tolerate some variation as long as it's recognisably your writing.

This is probably about as much as I handwrite in a whole year these days :-



I would struggle to find a pencil or pen within half an hour.

Sadly even my spelling has taken a nose-dive - I don't really bother much - I bash the keys and let the spellchucker do the rest ....

I am interested in other peoples handwriting. Most people seem to have better handwriting than me, I think it's because I never learned to write joined-up properly at primary school so when I write hurriedly it becomes really messy. I envy people with styling handwriting.

I am aware this thread requires the effort of taking a picture of your handwriting, for the reasonably limited return of a boring thread, so may not be too successful, but I'll give it a go

Aw - thank you! Interestingly enough my mother's handwriting is of a similar ilk - I wonder if it's possible to inherit your handwriting style?
