No idea about whether aircraft systems can set bombs off to be honest, it would depend on the frequencies they work on and the frequency the receiver on the detonator works on. If there was a risk of it, I'd want a no fly zone before I went messing round inside the house as well.

It might just be they don't want to be annoyed by helicopters flying over every five minutes - they are annoying.

Maybe if they believe there could be biological/chemical weapons there (since they are wearing NBC suits), they just don't want anyone flying over if something goes wrong and they get let off somehow.
