As tomatoes are a fruit, pizza is a fruit-based dish. Pineapple has a more savoury acid/sugar balance than tomatoes, so definitely belongs on a pizza.

You could probably add vinegar to pizza if you added chips. Or balsamic if you're middle-class.

Fruit pizzas are a thing too, so cherries would work.
