Great win for Peckham Town Women today. Came back from a goal down at halftime to win 2-1 and cement our second place spot in LWSFL Division One North.

Well that was a disappointing 1-2 defeat. Peckham never really got into their stride, even after the opposition were down to ten men.
Missed a penalty, our late equaliser was well offside and we were undone by giving away a penalty deep into injury time :(

The equaliser looks well onside from the video, albeit can't see where the player is when ball initially played. Assuming the player with hand in air is stationary, and not running back, then it's clearly on. That's sixth goal in injury time this season. Shame couldn't hold out for pens/ET.

The Peckham Feminista recorded their biggest win in the LWSFL this afternoon with a 13-0 win over Croydon WFC that keeps them in contention for the Division One title. Waiting for other results but could be top at close of play.

A couple of our goals today though the best of them is missing! Some real quality football out there today.

After our top of the table clash with Franchester was called off a fortnight ago due to a waterlogged pitch, the Peckham Feminista are back in action today against South London Laces. Kick off is at 11am on Tooting Common, a short walk from Tooting Bec station. All support much appreciated.

Apologies but the game has now been called off. Somehow fine at 8:30am but whoever looked at the pitch failed to spot f🤬king great patches of ice in the goalmouths & centre circle!!!

I'm now back from my travels and will be there for the home match against Welling Park on Sat. Huzzah!

Did anyone go to last Saturday's 1-6 thumping?

If watching the men’s team at Tenterden this weekend is a bit of a trek then the Peckham Feminista would massively appreciate your support on Saturday afternoon when we face LFA Galaxy in the LWSFL Division One South. We looking to avenge a 6-2 defeat on the opening day of the season when our opponents employed the dastardly ploy of including a number of players from their sister team from the Premier Division. The game takes place on Tooting Common, a short walk from Tooting Bec on the Northern Line, kicking off at 1:30pm

BYOC… chairs, cans, coats…

After a long wait for a game the Peckham Feminista roared back into action with a magnificent 5-2 win over 3rd place side LFA Galaxy. Victory was made doubly sweet as we’d been heavily defeated by them 6-2 at the start of the season and for the fact they had included some players from their Premier division side.

FFS: today's game has been postponed.
Given the amount of rain going on, there's going to be a lot of postponements. I doubt that our game on Monday will happen. It's a real bugger when you've been looking forward to a match/catching up with mates etc, and then it gets called off.

Football is going to have to switch to being a summer sport if this carries on. That said, we had a game rained off in August.

The women’s team have a lot of catching up too. That last win on 16th December was the first time we’d played since November 4th! Back in action on 13th January but it’s our games against narrow leaders Franchester that should decide the title. As things stand there’s one game with them to be rearranged whilst the other fixture isn’t due until March.

The women’s team are back in action this morning taking on SheDees in the LWSFL. The match has been switched from Tooting Bec to Clapham Common with an 11:45pm. Victory keeps up our challenge for promotion to the Premier Division. Would love to have your support Menace fans.

Feministas won five nil! Still in second spot after Franchester won 2-0 but with the two sides still to play each other the title is there for us. That win also means Peckham are highest scorers across the entire league.

Sadly, there were five goals scored today - but in Peckham's net :(

Full time: 2-5

Match was on at 11am, conditions improved, then the same referee judged it unplayable at 1.58. WTF.

Got to feel for the players and the team behind the scenes who did everything to get ready for a decent 100+ crowd who had rocked up. Probably 200 beers going unsold and a load of merch.

You could understand it if conditions had got worse, or if a different ref had assessed it earlier, but the same guy!!!

It’s almost as if the referees are a shower of shite and no amount of being told not to criticise the poor sensitive souls changes that.

Not the only game called off under similar circumstances:
