I'm not a fan of intellectualism for its own sake, as you might have realised. I'm more interested in intelligence, as displayed through awareness and consciousness of life in its entirety.

Onto PoMo witterings. As aptly explained by DotCom as "Emperor's New Clothes" and expanded by KS as an energy-sapping intellectual dead end, my problem with it is very much that the best of it says nothing very remarkable in more words than necessary, making minor insights more complicated than they need be. The majority of it actually says nothing at all, and the worst of it undermines class struggle by placing everything in a directionless morass of miasmic relativism in which there is nothing but self-regarding language mangling. All of it is a liberal project, and all of it is nothing more than an elitist pass-time, with no function other than to give succour to the neoliberal hegemony.
