I know this. The 'Fuck off' was for the snide remark re Conservatives. Elderly as I am, if someone accused me of stealing from a food bank I would deck them. As despicable acts go, stealing from a food bank takes some beating.

I agree her actions were despicable. As someone who donated to one of the organisations she stole from (WfI), I'm certainly no fan of McGarry.
Nobody is accusing you of stealing from a foodbank. Not sure why you brought your own conduct into it, though, unless you're married to a Tory councillor.

Just before anyone thinks I like the sentence, prison should be for people we are afraid of not people we are simply angry at. II loathe McGarry as I do any lying politician. However in this case the real loser is her child. Yes she should receive and carry out some form of restorative sentence and community payback but that should be within some kind of curfew thus ensuring her child can still be with her mum.
Ps fuck her zionist cunty twat of a Tory councillor husband.. Why no questions have ever been asked or levelled at him I find strange.

No one who isn't a cunt takes any pleasure from someone being sent to prison, but, still, you can't nick money donated by people for charitable / political purposes and expect not to go to prison for it.

Aye I get ye, I have to say I would expect had I done similar but just not convinced of the efficacy of such a punishment, but yeah in our current society it would be rather pipe dream ish to expect anything else, As danny la rouge said, just shite all round in so many ways.
