Manchester United 19/20: You can't win anything with kids (revisited)

What the fuck is that?

Only positive from that for United is that it might force the board's hand to spend some serious money before the transfer window closes. Incredible they've basically not even bothered trying to build on their decent end to last season while every other major club did their best to strengthen.

Interesting that the games now not over when the whistle blows but when or if VAR decide to review something . We’ve got assistant referees who don’t flag as VAR will decide and now the referee’s responsibility to blow for full time is out. Only a matter of time that we move to full automation for the ‘eliminate possible human error ‘ brigade get their way .

The game is never over if the whistle was blown incorrectly., isn't it? It was a penalty and it happened in playing time (although that seems to have gone on rather longer than the five indicated minutes). If it hadn't been given then we'd all be hearing 'what's the point of VAR if it misses things like that?'

To be fair that was always the case.

I doubt very much Ole is whining about VAR this week mind, or the slippage of Fergus time back into the League.

😂 😂 😂 we'll be having AAR audio assistant referee brought in next.

From the BBC sports comments . Potential to outsource the referees function of blowing the whistle for full time to a private company. Perhaps a hooter like American football?

Nearly signed for Benfica six weeks ago and then was touted round numerous clubs by his agent with no joy. One season max if true
