All 10 of City’s outfielders registered more touches than any United player.

Cristiano Ronaldo registered just 27 touches. By contrast, City’s false nine Bernardo Silva registered 86 touches.

Joao Cancelo has four assists in the past week alone, plus the ball in that led to Eric Bailly’s own goal. That’s more than Jadon Sancho, Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Jesse Lingard and Mason Greenwood have all season combined.

Manchester United managed just four touches in the opposition box. That’s their lowest tally in any game since Opta started recording the statistics in 2008.

Manchester City completed 753 passes in their win over Manchester United. The most any team has completed in a Premier League match against Utd since the 2003-04 season (when recording pass data started).

Manchester City have won eight away Premier League matches at Old Trafford against Manchester United, more than any other side in Premier League history.

Manchester United are now without a clean sheet in their last 14 home games in all competitions - they've only had one longer run in their entire history without a home clean sheet, a 21-game run between April 1958 and March 1959.

Eric Bailly is the first Manchester United player to score an own goal in the Manchester derby in the Premier League.
Yeah, but you prove anything with facts.

An "opinion" piece pretending to be a news story. I could shag Ana de Armas tomorrow night after bumping into her in my local, but it's probably unlikely.

Zidane is currently out of work after leaving Madrid in the summer and given his track record of winning trophies, he would be a top drawer candidate for United if they part ways with Solskjaer.

But the Red Devils have not entered discussions with the Frenchman, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The report claims Solskjaer wanted to discuss how United can turn their season around and the tactical plan going forward after switching to a back three in recent games.

It may be too late with a report on Wednesday claiming the United hierarchy had accepted the need to find a new manager.

Manchester Evening News reporter Samuel Luckhurst said that ‘United have privately decided a change of manager will be required following the morale-crushing defeats to Liverpool and Manchester City.’

That report claims Rodgers is understood to be their ‘preferred candidate’ but ‘it is still unclear when the club intends to sack Solskjaer as they mull over an arrival time for a replacement’.

But Rodgers says the speculation risks affecting his own players, who are looking to revitalise their season.

Manchester United have suffered their biggest league defeat against a promoted side since September 1989, a 5-1 loss against Manchester City at Maine Road.

Manchester United have conceded 29 goals in all competitions this season, only Norwich (30) and Leicester (30) have shipped more amongst Premier League sides.
