Ole is very much a product of the Ferguson era at Man Utd. A new man with no connection would make it easier to say no more hands on influence for Fergie.

I vote they give the job to Eric Djemba-Djemba and Bebe.

Well a point earned in the CL table , Ronaldos last minute goal lifted them from third to first . Four points and unbeaten in two games for Ole since the Liverpool crisis . Spurs have nabbed Conte and that’s a threat out of the way. A loss against City ( who have a very mixed record over recent years in this game) won’t do him any harm , a point will be Oles on the wheel and three will be the second coming .
The biggest threat is more long term , Chelsea , Liverpool and City have to drop a lot of points and United have to find consistency and not drop a lot of points to challenge the top three. Fourth place is more likely and it could be interesting if Conte gets Spurs on track ( and he apparently has some dosh for January ) .
