MAFSUK 2024

I've lost interest tbh, they are all so spectacularly awful AND dull.

Having said that, was last night's dinner party worth watching? :hmm:
Much of the same. Polly called Adam a cunt.
Sasha is still refusing to move to Manchester even though Ross has a child there.
Luke and Amy continue to be on completely different pages.

I’ll speed watch final vows and just look forward to the reunion shows.

Nothing new really. If you’re interested in watching Polly have another go at Adam for the same stuff and then subtly twist it all to make out that he’s the one at fault.

Sascha and Ross are weird. They apparently love each other, but the thought of moving less than 100 miles away to be with the love of their life is causing them massive meltdowns.
I understand his position a bit better, what with having a young child it's more reasonable of him to want to be very close so he can pop round and spend time with the child.
Sasha is being a complete baby about it though, and her parents are awful. Surely they should be encouraging her and proud of her being an independent adult, not insisting that she doesn't move a relatively short distance away.

I’m judging Ross fairly harshly for being willing to move 2 hours away from his very young child. I’m sure he’ll make every effort to see her but he can’t be a fully involved parent when he doesn’t live close to her.
Sasha has been such a complete baby about the whole thing, it's ridiculous and he should not have capitulated to that.
Yes of course a lot of people can and do co-parent from a distance, but it means a more formalised and less flexible arrangement, which given that he and the child's mother seem to be very amicable, would be better served by him being nearby and probably being a more constant feature in that little child's life.
I think he will come to regret that decision.

Bloody hell, Polly going all in with daggers drawn on the final vows

At the start I really disliked Adam, on the basis that he seemed a bit shallow - but I feel sorry for him now, Polly has been deliberately vicious to everyone including him.

His hairdo seems shitter now than it did at the start mind you.

EDIT: Bloody hell is this a sign of age that I'm criticising what might just be the latest fashion trend?

I feel a bit sorry for Adam now too. Polly makes no sense at all. I can’t follow her arguments. Anything that Adam does seems to not be what she wants from him and she twists everything that happens into it all being against her in ways that cause me to not be able to understand what’s going on. To use a classic MAFS bingo phrase, it feels like gaslighting to me. He has no idea what to do to make her happy because whatever he does is wrong and she kicks off at him whatever he does.

I do think he probably shouldn't have shagged if he wasn't attracted to her, there seems a bit of a lack of understanding from him that people have differing requirements of involvement/interest/attraction in terms of shagging.
But it doesn't seem he's actually lied to her, he's always been probably too brutally honest about not really finding her attractive. So he really can't win, he's either too honest or he's lied, which is it?
Yeah should not have shagged though, that would be mixed signals for a lot of people in that situation, if it's not clear that it's sex for the sake of it.

I did enjoy Amy’s dramatic speech although I still don’t feel any emotion from her. Is she cold or is it Botox?

I got the impression she was getting quite fucked off with it all towards the end of "the experiment".
She strikes me as really quite intelligent and was going to see through Luke's constant little fibs.

Yeah she seemed really resigned to the bullshit, like here we go again. It’s so boring!

I don’t even think it’s malicious from Luke, he just seems completely incapable of being a grown up and owning his shit. I’d love to know what his other relationships have been like.

Maybe others have indulged it more or maybe there’s been so many because they’re all very short.
