MAFSUK 2024

To bring up Sacha’s hair again…

Do they not have professional hair and make up people on the show? Or is it our HD TVs that show up the crusty hair and thick makeup?

I mean that hair do was terrible. Even though Keiron did say “your hair looks ace!” when he arrived.

I'm still struggling with what Luke allegedly said/wrote - that is OK in the context of a respectful sexual relationship if it's an accepted and consensual part of that relationship to make that sort of comment as a form of flirtation or foreplay, it is absolutely not acceptable to say it outside of that circumstance and might constitute sexual harassment - and maybe if he's been coming out with that sort of stuff all along off camera, it might well go a long way to explain why Amy has been so prickly with him.
Luke really is completely baffling. He really doesn’t seem to give a shit that language like that upsets her and that comment, just wow. It’s extreme. Did he do it to purposely upset her I wonder? Can he really be that clueless to think that’s OK in the situation?

I've seen someone liken her hair to the wigs Irish dancers wear.

I’ve realised I was an episode behind because I forgot I only watched half the final vows. Usually that’s over 2 shows but there’s so few of them left. 😄
Before Adam and Polly said how many times they’d had sex, did anyone else assume they were regularly shagging once they’d got going? It was certainly painted like that. Also, Polly was talking about PDA but actually she meant any affection.

Right, I’m excited to be starting the final bun fight episode.

N works nights so catches up with MAFSUK when they show the 8am repeat when he gets in from work.

I might be mistaken, but I feel they edited it to be more "family viewing" because I didn't hear what Luke had allegedly written in the note (the bit that raised eyebrows) from the version of the show I saw last night, I had to explain it to N.

What about when Polly called Adam a cunt?
Ah yeah I was thinking about that too, it didn't happen she just chucked the wine and left, but I couldn't remember whether it was actually in that episode that she used the word cunt (fights involving Polly are starting to blur into one at this point).

But yes if it was last night's new episode it happened in, then they edited it out of this morning's showing - kind of makes sense in a pre-watershed kids getting ready to go to school telly slot.

It does reduce a lot of the impact of what has happened though, N probably wants to bear that in mind for future seasons and watch it on the streaming service instead of catching the morning repeat.

If he’s faking complete bewilderment then he’s a good actor. He looks completely clueless and stupid. I don’t get it!

The one who has really grown on me throughout this is Emma, I did start out thinking she was a bit posh and I might not always get her point of view or circumstances - but roll the thing forward a few weeks to the final dinner party, and it's like she's the only adult in the room.
She seems to be very supportive of other people, and mature enough to sit next to Caspar and have a laugh with him with no real hard feelings or acrimony.

Emma thinking Amy said televise her bumhole had me roaring with laughter.

If Luke really is that clueless then he’s a danger to women. If he really doesn’t know what’s appropriate and what’s not to that extent.

When that came out, what he'd written was so outrageously inappropriate that I immediately thought if he's been talking and behaving like that to Amy all along, then her treatment of him which I'm sure I'd been a bit critical of earlier in the thread, is completely justified.

OK, you're gonna have to tell me what this Luke bloke said.
I've spoiler tagged it so as not to spoil anything for those watching a bit behind aired schedule.

He allegedly wrote in the letter to Amy that he sent in the parcel with the turtle brooch that he wanted to terrorise her bumhole.

Fucking hell.
Exactly.

It's only OK to say that in the bounds of a respectful sexual relationship where that is part of your repertoire and where there is agreement that talk like that is acceptable and both parties find it exciting.

Saying it to someone you barely know and has already said they don't like sexualised comments at all is just seriously what the fuck?

I think he knew what he was doing, and it comes across as at best very dodgy, and at worst harassing/intimidation.

I’m going mad to read the spoiler but will resist as will be watching it in a cpl of hours.
Do watch the version on the C4 streaming service though, because it was edited out of the pre-watershed broadcast repeat earlier.

Massive massive lol at the utter meaninglessness of "commitment ceremony" being applied to this group of people at this stage :D

I was about to say what on earth is Paul wearing...but wtf is Sasha wearing? The hair, the dress, dear god.
She looks like she’s morphing into Blue. Strange that now he’s moved away from his daughter she’s making herself look like a little girl!

Also are all the women bizarrely gold and shiny, or is my telly on the blink?
Is this the fashion atm in terms of makeup, or is the series makeup artist in the middle of some sort of crisis?
