It's not supposed to be published till July. It always says that pre-publication on amazon.

Amazon, Waterstones etc were all delivering it for late March. It was pushed back twice by two weeks.
I pre-ordered it and what was quoted is what I was emailed today.

Well, the publishers themselves say it's not coming out till July.

Right fair enough.
A lot of websites saying it was published on 03/03/12. Maybe they're just having to make changes for what ever reason. Originally the book was supposed to be 434 pages long.

they've gone so far as to design a jacket, the publishing process is nearly over, and you'll be able to pick up copies in remainder shops for a quid by xmas.

Dunno if anyone watched At Home with the Noonans but it wasn't very interesting.
Used cuts from both A Very British Gangsters.
Little bit on Dessie at the start. Moved on to talk about Domenyks key boys, one was Longshanks; then religion where Dom and Longshanks talked about why god is important to them, Dessie's funeral, Dom's facebook and ended with Buggsy's social life where he's chilling with "up and coming rap artist" Widz (so up and coming he has 156 views on his youtube video).

The link states that he is 46 & has spent 28yrs in jail, he has presumably been incarcerated for most of his adult life, so he can't have had that much time to enjoy his ill gotten gains?

WH Smiths often list books they can't get. I think this book may have been pulled...it's nowhere on abebooks or anywhere else that I can see.

Not from the publisher. They just said it was delayed.
Possibly trashed (or delayed ?) at last moment because a certain very significant claim made about Dessie Noonan's activities were found to be a complete and utter and quite ludicrously politically naive fabrication ? ... and unsuccessful attempts to link other people , very much still living, to these ludicrous fabricated claims potentially opened the way to massive libel costs ?
