Just like the District, Circle, Met and H&C trains all have yellow rails.
I wouldn’t care, I use the bloody thing on an almost daily basis.
I'm on the Ginger line as we speak and that's still full-on retro orange (which I happen to really like!)I went on an Overground towards Richmond the other day and it had received a light refurb inside - with attractive green and orange seat covers on board. Better than the 1970's retro heavy orange material.
Would prefer some traverse seats - say at the car ends - so the attractive city scape could be enjoyed. Yes- I know all about metro capacity etc.......
Yeah, I haven't yet got around to framing ours, but I have hand drawn on the Lizard Line!We have 2 original tube maps, each over 50 years old. They are now framed and waiting to be hung.
What's that in old money?I was on the Windrush today.
I'm sure I'll get used to it. Seems a bit weird at the moment.
