Laurence Fox. The twat.

Can't imagine having to underwrite losses like this is particularly sustainable surely, or even desirable? What are they getting out of this? Fox isn't getting anywhere
They’re some sort of hedge fund type. Investing in stoking culture war bullshit is to keep people divided and punching down, keeps them away from other ideas like fairly taxing the super rich or demanding fair rents etc. There’s a strong financial motive to this, rather than an idealogical one. Unfortunately (or fortunately) they’ve not made a good investment here, Fox is a liability and incompetent.

It's a loan, payable on demand. :)

This is probably an accounting thing. Zero interest loans require net present value calculations to hit the profit and loss accounts of the lender and the borrower unless they are ‘on demand’. Assuming it’s been lent to an entity (and not to Fox personally) when it comes to it the entity will declare bankruptcy and the loan will be written off and claimable as a tax loss to the lender. If it’s to Fox personally then writing off the loan would count as taxable income to him. Only an idiot would structure it like that…

What’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the loathsome entitled toff.

It’s simply ghastly that a promising acting career was singie-handedly scuppered by the diabolical machinations of that real life Bond villain Sadiq Khan (there can be no other explanation for ‘Lozza’ being offered no acting gigs in the last few years eh).

I don’t suppose it’s occurred to him to seek alternative employment rather than sponge off the largesse of some tax-evading loon. There seems to be no shortage of demand for Deliveroo drivers. Aldi are currently hiring in my area (and quite decent hourly pay rates, in fact I’m thinking of asking them if they have any openings for a couple of days in the week to top up my present part-time job).

MacDonalds? Costa or Pret trainee barista? There’s work out there if you want it, ‘Lozza’.

But I suppose it’s more lucrative to make absurd and unfounded libel allegations, go to court, lose your case, and be hit with swingeing damage demands.

How I wish I had had a public school education, that would’ve enabled me to think out of the box in this way and make smart career decisions.

You absurd, posturing, gak-crazed buffoon.

Really?

How much, ehrm, leg do you need to lose for £3m? Asking for a friend...

It's not the injury itself that gives you the big bucks, but the cost of everything you need to deal with it

Have you seen the cost of artificial legs these days? An ottobock x3 will set you back £100k and has a lifespan of 5-7 years. You'll need other prosthetics at the same time like a waterproof one for showering

Some days you just won't be able to use the prosthetics so it'll be wheelchair time. Good thing your house has been adapted to cope with that

Even with the prosthetics, you'll need a lot of looking after and carers costs.

If that sounds good, an above knee amputation can be arranged. For the right price of course

The £180 grand is of course just the punitive damages awarded to the people he libelled. There's also the legal costs of this case.

Loser had already racked up £152 grand in costs when he applied for the case to be heard by a jury in 2022, failed and had to pay both sides costs.
The costs in this case will be 'substantial'.

According to Mukhtar:
Mukhtar: ''The real damage is over £1.5m.''

Mukhtar @I_amMukhtar
The real damage is over £1.5m.

Don't forget the phantom pain that amputees often have to live with.
