I can't say I am worried by knife crime every time I step I step out of my house but if I was I guess I would carry a knife as well for 'protection' although I know this just exacerbates the situation. You must live in a very rough area to be worried every time you step out of your house or do you live in a quiet provincial country town & are just paranoid?

This is an alarming issue that we need to do something about! There seems to be too many people standing by whilst many members of the public suffer! I'm not sure how strongly you feel about this issue but I know it worries me every time I step out the house and I want to do something about it! How does the whole situation make you feel?

There's lots being done to address the issue of serious violence, particularly in relation to young people. That would include fists, knives, guns, wooden batons (one youth whacked a man around the head in Brixton the other, causing him serious damage) and anything else that can inflict damage on a person.

To be fair I reckon paranoia is probably a larger problem of their life rather than knives.
