King Charles III's time is up

All their time should be up, the money-grabbing bastards.

(I added the bold for emphasis.)

The absolute cheek of these people. Lovely, benign, dutiful old lady with the country's best interest at heart (and yet somehow curiously apolitical at the same time) my arse.

William Windsor became one of the largest landowner's in Britain last year when the Duchy of Cornwall passed to him.

But he has sympathetic smiles for the disadvantaged people he meets and he's voiced concerns about mental health, and his wife has nice hair and wears stylish clothes and isn't Meghan.

Revealed: royals took more than £1bn income from controversial estates

He’s a keen environmentalist and gardener!

Oh that’s alright then

I find this a remarkably coherent and persuasive argument from the bloke who was trying to persuade Charles to make an omelette

Ms Johnson was happily discussing privilege without seeming to see the irony of a nonentity aside from her brother having a talk show on a major radio broadcaster.

I do try and avoid the royal family stuff but I found the story very strange that Charles has not invited Andrew's wife (can't remember her name for the moment) to the coronation. As if he's her fault in some way?

I keep seeing the #notmyking thing being mentioned - must admit (even as a Republican) this doesn't make sense - it's along the lines of #notmypresident which suggests you want a different president - or #notmypm which suggests similar. So not my king (to me) suggests they want a different King - and it's Republicans saying this .

Lol, at suggesting Rojava as an alternative, fair play for squeezing that in!

Also her argument, "Well it's totally ridiculous but we can't think of anything better."
