I'm not but the street party was still excellent, possibly because of the distinct lack of royalists present and the amount of alcohol and food that was. And then much later Murdoch loses the paper - but related to something which got more anger from the public.
I sometimes wonder whether they were related.
Losing a paper was quite a price to play and Murdoch was indeed humbled.

Losing the News of the World was long overdue. I don't think a conspiracy theory is needed. The brand was always seedy - which was part of the appeal, but there's a difference between seedy scurrilous fun and what they ended up being known for. If anything, the closure of the NotW did Murdoch a favour, by not continuing to contaminate his other business interests - all of which come with their own ethical problems and overlapping staff, and therefore need no help to look grubby.

The travel boards are bracing themselves for loads of questions about London on Coronation day. nb, Some/many of these are already being asked or have been for other recent Royal events:

Ohhhhh.....! We are coming to London then and now I'm worried and think I should cancel and move it to another date?

Will London be Busy? We want to see all the usual tourist sites with as much ease as possible. Is there a special ticket that will let us skip the lines and see everything anyway?

Will tourists be allowed in to England that day?

Will the Bank Holiday mean all the usual tourist sites be shut? When will the bank holiday be confirmed? What about stores and cafes - where will we get food?

Will taxis or private drivers be waiting at London Airport to take us to Downtown London or will the Heathrow Express be running to our lodgings in Twinkenham? We can't use trains or buses because we have luggage.

Will the the trains still be on strike?

Are we exempt from wearing dress clothing and standing to attention?

Will the shops be closed? And if they are open will they still accept money with the Queen on it or can I use $ instead.

What will the weather be? Should we take umbrellas?

Where can we get SIM Cards at the Airport, are our US Passports adequate ID to buy them?

My partner says they might like to see it, where is the best place to get tickets?

If we do watch the procession, where is safe? Where can we hire the best guards to protect us from the blacks stabbing people at random? How do civilised Londoners manage to go about unprotected on foot in the city?

Why can't we just take our guns with us to England?

Where would be safe from the running battles between fans of Princess Catherine and Princess Meghan?

Would we be expected to tip more as it's a Royal occasion?
