Keith Moon Exposed As Crap Shocker

Panda Panda, have no fear.
I think that the coast is clear.
Calm yourself now, and draw near.
Let me whisper in your ear.

Panda, Panda, do you find
Yours is a superior mind?
Others' faults easy to find?
One-eyed man in land of blind?

Panda Panda, are you there?
Supporating in your chair?
Thinking that your foes you'll snare?
Don't dig one grave. Dig a pair.

Which is probably why I found them hard to listen to, what with liking to tap my foot rhythmically to the beat. :p :D

She could keep time just fine, she just didn't do anything fancy. When fancy drumming ends up with atrocities like Rush I'm happy for folks to keep it simple tbh.

Saw The Who in Portsmouth in 1974. Keith Moon definitely not crap. One of the best rock drummers, ever. :)

Having read through this thread, I can only conclude that phildwyer seems to be smoking crack.

And his writing's shit. Trying to use polysyllabic low-frequency words doesn't make you clever big man, it just makes you sound pretentious as fuck.

Moon wasn't technically brilliant, there is no point denying it, and his reputation comes before his drumming ability. He had charisma, he did what others hadn't and changed what drumming was. But from a drummers drummer point of view he was a long chalk off a good deal of others.

Why are typos in thread titles corrected but not nonsense like in this thread title?

and why was the (admittedly much dimmer one) banned and not the original troll? consistency please, in the words of a great man.

But that's the point. No one's heard you play because you were too fucking crap to get anywhere near a recording deal. Or even a recording studio, by all accounts.

I'm not being fooled by your hopeless attempt to shift the subject, either. You claimed Keith Moon was a crap drummer and it's now become clear that you know fuck all about him or drumming in general.

And I really couldn't care if you believe you're a better drummer than me either because it's totally irrelevant to this thread - and it certainly doesn't alter the fact that you've just made an almighty twat of yourself.

The rest is fair enough but the notion that recording deals have muc to do with talent is a very silly one, everyone knows a massively talented guitarist who has never had a recording contract.
