Perhaps if you went back and read everything else I have written on this thread you'd have a little more understanding around my thoughts and observations rather than leaping, rather pedantically, on one particular statement.
Chris made, and has repeated, gross generalisations and lies that are both racist and Islamaphobic. Again if you read my previous posts you will see I have tried to bring this to his attention but to no avail.

Why would I want to do that when I have focused on the one thing you've said that's frankly a fallacy. If you read everything I've said on this thread you'll know I'm disappointed how he's turned out.

There was no such implication intended, I should've used inverted commas as I was parodying the kind of language used by the right wing.
The assumptions about my meaning is based on semantics rather than reading the context of what I was saying.
This is an emotive subject and we must choose our language carefully.

Let me answer this in the context of what you assumed I was inferring.

A lot of Chris's comments are based on the right wing narrative that Islam is a violent religion and that UK Muslims are above British law.
This is precisely what was behind Farage's "Two Tier Kier" rhetoric and what helped fuel the Stockport riots, etc.

I used the phrases 'peace loving' and 'law abiding' as these truths go against the right wing narrative being used in Chris's statements, I can now see how it could be misconstrued and I apologise for not seeing this in the first instance.

Please note, I have never questioned or assumed your standing on this whole matter.

Aside from the header on this post potentially implicating the band collectively (which is problematic tbh), I've found this thread helpful, especially after having felt such dismay at the sheer intellectual dishonesty of CB following his original posts. If he'd left those up instead of re-framing everything from August 2nd onwards, at least more right-thinking people would be on the same page instead of having to unpick the endless knot of thread & sub-thread. Those original posts are still archived according to him, rather than fully deleted, doubly perplexing for anyone who cares about the so-called truth. As for truth, this comment today was another eye-opener (from a supporter, and also 'liked', therefore endorsed, by CB):

"Keep speaking the truth Chris. The time is now. We are One and that is the only way forward. These riots, so called special treatment of immigrants invited in and orchestrated by the government to cause more separation, fear and oppression! Its as plain as the nose on my face. Same thing is happening in other countries, Ireland and Australia to name two. We MUST in the face of fear stand in TRUTH With unwavering faith. Because LOVE is the only way out of the hell hole created by those who don’t care about the likes of you and i. They seek only their own power, greed and narcissistic agenda. We must overcome."
