Kamala Harris' time is up

This is a Trump response to Harris. Hard choice

It seems so bizarre to me that this man is seen as a strong leader. At least half of everything he does it throwing toddler's tantrums like this.

Refusing to even call your opponent by her name, that's not adult behaviour never mind presidential candidate behaviour. But then I suppose his target audience is people who are, morally emotionally and intellectually, children. Which would be fine if there weren't 100 or so million of them and they weren't allowed guns.

It's clickbait. Trump isn't having A COMPLETE MELTDOWN he said the polls were fake news, same shit he's been saying for years. A waste of five minutes.
So I kind of agre with this. I've seen a bunch of videos like that come up on YouTube lately, and my reaction has just been click bait bollocks.

But I was thinking about it and it is interesting to suddenly see loads comming up with tiles like that, it seems to reflect a shift in the narrative around the election, and I think that might be a positive thing. I may not like the videos, but I think I like that they exist.

Trump looks right on track for a meltdown soon so definitely cheering to see it preempted, though when it comes its going to be a lot more spectacular than that :) something to look forward to

I wonder how many American voters will even know who's being referenced in those pictures. I mean 🤷‍♀️.

And really can't see the whole small town, homespun, ex national guard/high school teacher and football coach as Marxist thing working but what do I know...
Apparently he's the best marksmen among them, tho I do wonder how this was decided.
Small town to success is the American Dream, military helps for a lot of voters, teacher could go both ways now with them targeting schools in very strange ways.
The football coach thing is also another bonus, its huge and he apparently (iirc) got them to win the whatever it was championship.

This was on reddit but it seemed to be shown as a good pick, consistently successful, hits a lot of boxes and nothing in particular for them to aim at. Especially compared to the other sides guy

Comment I read on a board I nick memes off I thought rang very true was how Harris and Walz look like people who genuinely get some pleasure out of life and what they do rather than the bitter whining manbabies opposite. Also more likely to appeal to middle ground IMO

Read on Daily Beast Vance's attack line is a swiftboating attempt saying Walz ducked out of the army just before his unit deployed to Iraq. Was tried during his gubernatorial contest apparently and didn't stick, so maybe not much to worry about.

If anyone's interested in the VP pick's speech, here is Tim Walz. Some pretty funny moments when he goes after Vance and Trump...

That's actually an excellent speech. And because of his background, some waverers might actually watch it. Even some Trumpers might be a little swayed.

She couldn't have made a better choice for VP. Her chances of election have definitely gone up.

And Harris's story is the big town American Dream

excellent, excellent point. howard is nobody's idea of an elite college, but it serves a hugely important role within its community, as does the university i attended in my corner of the world, so i have some sympathy.

just in general, i've had it UP TO HERE with this fetishization of "good, solid, small-town, middle america." if walz can exploit his background into the vice-presidency that's great, being a schoolteacher myself.

but.

It's good to read but, christ on a cracker, why has it taken them so long to say this? It's not as if trump has suddenly revealed himself in the last week as the aberration he's always been.

No stars, no applause here for forced-into-a-corner, self-serving, skin-saving republicans.

TBF, 'Republicans against Trump' were posting this sort of stuff back in 2020, they are not new.

It's not that, Cupid, it's the fact that it's taken until now - 5th of August!! - for the Mayor of Arizona to publicly acknowledge that trump is unfit for office.

Is it the first time he's come out with the 'Republicans against Trump'?

I've no idea, TBF, but if so, better late than never, and TBH probably more damaging at this point in the campaign.
