July 2005 London bomb blasts: UPDATES AND NEWS ONLY - NO DISCUSSION

London hospitals treating 300 people now appparently.

I can't help thinking we got of lightly compared to Madrid.

Assuming of course the attacks have finished.

:(

from wales news
trains from north wales terminating at watford
trains from south wales terminating at reading
police and searches at cardiff central
people told not to travel to london

Fuck, Just found that it was the bus 205 which blew up and I was trying to get on that when I was kicked off the tube this morning...

There ain't a right thread for islamophobic shit.

I agree, from a non-islamophobic point of view.

Condemning the type of cunt that did this isn't the same as condemning Islam. Don't misquote me.

But as has been pointed out - another thread.

FAO Sue who posted earlier in this thread; Brighton station re-opened and back to normal...well as normal as Brighton gets. ;)

Bulshit  Islam is a peaceful religion. There are extremists in all beliefs.

Back to news updates now please...

 I'm not condemning Islam for fucks sake, I'm condemning the mindset of the cunts who planted these devices, and their "god" - not the same thing and you know it.

I'm just as bitter towards extremist Xtianity and Judaism.

just snapped on news wires that 'ambulance source' says 23 dead at tavistock square and 20 bodies in tunnel at kings x :(

It might have been mentioned already, but those concerned about transport about London might want to hear the river buses are running and offering free travel to and from the following piers:

Savoy (Cleopatra’s Needle)
Blackfriars
Bankside (Tate Modern)
London Bridge (south side near Hay’s Galleria)
St Katharine Docks (Tower Bridge)
Canary Wharf (Canary Riverside)
Greenland (Surrey Quays)
Masthouse Terrace (Isles of Dogs)
Greenwich
Woolwich Arsenal

Part of me is a bit angry though, there was very little information, nobody was coming out to people at bus stops and telling people not to get on buses or what had happened, I didn't find out until I was talking with people on the way home.

Message from Bob Kiley:

We said we would update you at 2.00pm on the situation. There is still work going on to resolve resumption of service. We will update you at 3.00pm on how you will be able to get home.

chaos and panic is a terrorist bastard cunt wanker's best friend....the news of 'power surges' really didn't help. public transport should have immediately sent people home or not allowed people on

Where in South Kensington was that do you know? Is the area unsafe?
Exhibition road, and it was just a precautionary measure, most likely just some drunken student left a bag lying around
