For once I didn't really think the vuvuzelas were that bad. Not much to blow about in this game.

Deco is already 32, and his style of play always depended on condition. He's declining steadily since he hit his thirties, so it's pretty questionable if he should still be at this level. He was a cornerstone on the midefields of two CL winning teams, if you want to argue over his quality, knock yourselves out

As for Portugal, the fucking Oompa Loompa can go back to Madrid if he wants to prance around doing nothing and pouting for the cameras everytime things don't go his way. Simão and Danny the same. Ricardo Carvalho, Paulo Ferreira and Deco are old and slow, Meireles is decent but a lightweight for that position, Liedson was in a game that would never be his (and he made damn sure that wouldn't happen). Plus, Queirós is still a huge moron. Those subs probably made sense in his head, where sending home Nani with a mild injury makes sense, but keeping Pepe, who had a very serious injury and is still in questionable form.

In brief: we're shit. But I'm sure Portugal will get a few "most entertaining team" and the oompa loompa a few nominations for best in the match.
