Belarus were in the european championships a while back though (where they were beaten 6-0 in a similar manner to what's happened here, I think by denmark). And neither team are in the world cup but neither were they were barred from trying to qualify which is my point

They did try to qualify as per my original post. They were eliminated.

They can't really even show the South Koreans. They'd know they were foreigners as they're allowed long hair.

I def think that that formation put north korea at a disadvantage. There were too many occasions where the players were isolated and couldn't find each other.
