Israeli spyware firm NSO seems to have very close links to the Israeli government (quelle surpise)

What is says on the tin really. Ongoing court battle between WhastApp and NSO whereby the former asked for files from NSO as part of discovery in a court case in which NSO was implicated in accessing WhatsApp led to the Israeli government stepping in and requisitioning data and hardware so nothing would come to light. So NSO is essentially a commercial arm of the Israeli government. Who would have guessed?

Yeah I guess it kinda has unofficially. But this is the first time that there has been actual evidence of a link.

Numerous EU governments are now using this and similar undetectable Spyware. I've had similar stuff used on me but there are ways you can detect such software even if you can't see it (however even a factory reset won't remove it)
