OK. I have an in-route here. Just saw the dude dressed in a Hi-Viz suit (you couldn't really miss him). Hopefully meeting him and his mates later to find out what the value is in there functional, but 'stylish' workwear outfits.
I really liked the Japanese guy I met wearing the old fashioned carpenters apron as an everyday/walk around town sort of thing. He was a very chilled, content and relaxed young person who happily admitted he was wearing what he was wearing, because it represented his aspirations. Good aspirations IMO, but Day-Glo orange suit? Are any of the Village People still around to ask I wonder?
Just out of nothingness as the usuals' seem to be taking the piss...
I dress quite consciously as a 'non-artist'. When I put my work out and sit on a bench close by watching peoples reactions, I see them look at my fucking brilliant genius work, then they look for the artist. I am almost always the last person they suspect. However, my functional, but stylish workwear is currently hefty motorcycle boots (donated by Hells Angels - thanks guys), dark blue cords with knee pad things, 5 top layers - T, dress shirt, thermal blue toned tartan shirt, thick knit cardigan in traditional Portuguese fisherman's style (with hood) in blue and white and a very suave overcoat in a sort of fawn colour - full length with beautiful lining and detachable suede collar
As fucking fuck!!!!!!!!!!

Poot I have a secret liking for women in hard hats and boots also. I keep it secret, because many would probably accuse me of being sexist.
Hard hat. Steel toe capped boots. Touch of Chanel Nº5, and fuck all else. Oh yes
