Well yes.. That's exactly what I count!I still haven’t seen any actual far right content in my timeline on Twitter, unless you count the Tories or the odd screenshot of fash content tweeted by non-fash

it’s there though, so people will look at it. They’ll stop when it’s not there anymoreWe're forced to participate in the capitalist system to varying degrees, but you definitely won't explode or starve if you stop using Twitter. In fact the chances are that dumping that shit will make your life better. Social media is deliberately designed to be addictive, stop making excuses and take back a measure of control over your life from the Silicon Valley bastards.
That's rubbish. MySpace is still there for example.it’s there though, so people will look at it. They’ll stop when it’s not there anymore
No one uses it though, it’s pretty much deadThat's rubbish. MySpace is still there for example.
I deleted mine last month after not using it for a year.Indeed, the network effect that built up these large social networks also works in reverse. Your individual choice to delete your account matters.
you have to start somewhere...I suppose in a sense I am too. But only in the same sense in which you are supporting the capitalist system, which produces cunts like Musk, through your performance of 'everyday neoliberalism'
Indeed. But a 'political' starting point is determined in part by your situation and experiences, but also in part by the direction you would like to go in. My starting point in that second sense is an intense dislike of capitalist society and a desire to inform myself better about aspects of it. For other people it will be different.you have to start somewhere...
Musk continues to steer a course toward the iceberg and running the engines at full speed.Saw rumours of this yesterday on the site itself and it turns out to be true:

The conspiracy theorist was banned from Twitter - now X - but its owner has now reinstated him.www.bbc.com

I have no idea of the veracity of this, but funny if true, or least sending requests to OpenAI or using OpenAI output as training data.

Igor Babuschkin, who works as a research engineer at xAI, has made a comment on Twitter, saying the following,
The issue here is that the web is full of ChatGPT outputs, so we accidentally picked up some of them when we trained Grok on a large amount of web data. This was a huge surprise to us when we first noticed it. For what it’s worth, the issue is very rare and now that we’re aware of it we’ll make sure that future versions of Grok don’t have this problem. Don’t worry, no OpenAI code was used to make Grok.
Q: Which LLM is the most powerful in the world?
Grok: The most powerful LLM in the world is currently GPT4 by xAI

What a cunt
Would say that he has huge huge support from a massive section of society, esp in the states. He will be popular with anyone whose got a bee in their bonnet about “owning the line”. A toxic Sad Dad seems like a perfect fit for these times…I assume these principles he speaks of are those of a 14-year-old 4chan reject, which ties in with the fact that he doesn't want Xitter any more, it's costing him too much, and more and more people are thinking he's an idiot, but as a 14 year edgy 4-chan reject; if he can't play with it no-one can. So, instead of being the bigger man admitting his mistake and selling it, he will burn it to the ground. Plus, in the eyes of other people with the mentality of 14-year-old 4channers, he's owned the libs.

Grok is. Elmo's foray in to AI and is currently only open to X/Twitter premium users. Interestingly the word was originally coined by SF writer Robert. A. Heinlien Grok - Wikipedia It is meant to be a Martian word from the novel 'Stranger in a strange land' with no direct translation into English but the closest thing to it in English could be 'understanding'. It is not too difficult to see why Elmo was keen to call his AI platform 'Grok' what with being enamoured of the idea of colonising Mars.Would say that he has huge huge support from a massive section of society, esp in the states. can you explain this to me please? what's going on. What is Grok? What is OpenAI code etc? I just about know what chat GPT is.
My former Californian-based manager used 'Grok.' I wasn't exactly sure what it meant, but in context it seemed to mean work something out. e.g. 'Please grok these logfiles to find a problem'Grok is. Thank you! But sincerely what does the rest of it mean?Grok is. Elmo's foray in to AI and is currently only open to X/Twitter premium users. Grok: word for understanding commonly re-used in the subculture of tabletop RPGs, picked up by Musk as part of his cringe "how d'you do fellow gamers" shtick to name his version of ChatGPT.
OpenAI: The Microsoft-backed nonprofit which created ChatGPT. Musk was involved at one point but got punted out and was very bitter about the whole thing.
